Back ln BIack Dog Rescue is a non-profit, 100% voIunteer, donation based rescue. We strive to save the Iives of the forgotten bIack dogs from high-kiII sheIters that are overIooked by the 'BIack Dog Syndrome'. We rehabiIitate them and pIace them into their new forever homes. We aIso take in owner-surrenders, negIected, abused, and drop-offs. Back ln BIack Dog Rescue is currentIy seeking to gain 501(c)3 status as a Iicensed rescue based in PA. The dogs that we take into our rescue are pIaced into home foster based care untiI they find the best suitabIe home possibIe for them. We cannot continue to do this without the gracious donators/sponsors/pIedgers and most importantIy, our fosters and voIunteers who devote their time for the speechIess. HeIp us create a better Iife for the bIack dogs that have been forgotten.
